I'll be there.

Getim needs a roomate for the 21st. Talk to Getim. We are leaving Naman in charge of what to do. If Getim doesn't get a room mate we are gonna have a tourny to see who's bed he sleeps in.

I beleive most of us dont' drink much, so that leaves alot of designated drivers. If I'm wrong, I'll do the driving.

Looking for ideas on events. All are welcomed. Please don't bring ur goats. The hotel won't allow them. I know this will drive half our members off but hey. The farm didn't have any rooms availible. It looks like the iternerary is to meet at about 4pm at the hotel on the 21st. If anyone is looking to split the cost of the room you can post here.

I did reserve a 2 Queen non-smoking bed room. so if anyone wants to grab that extra bed just make a post. first to post gets it. It'll be around $45. Or if you want, I can get a Jaccuzi with that. hehe. But it's not the honeymoon suite!!! So don't get any ideas.

I have been to these places so I know how to get there and back. Also I picked places close enough to work for us. Please leave your thoughts guys.

Ahhh sorry to hear that Lost. But we understand. Stress is something I battle a lot, and money is something we all battle a lot. BTW, so you all know here are costs associated with what I am thinking too...

Paintball Saturday afternoon (arrival to 5pm) = $25 (includes all rentals, fields, etc) - checking on paint.
Cracker Barrel - sometime between 6 and 8 - good meal around $10-$15 (about $2 less without coke)
Bowling - We need to be there by 10, actual bowling from 10:30pm-2am. All you can bowl for $14

Who am I missing? Please post so I can update this list. We need to know how many for PB. Bowling is first come first serve but he said if we are in line at 10 we will get our spots. I have been to everyplace we plan to go so we will have no problem getting there and back. If we have so many we have multiple cars I have family service radios and I will give someone in the other car my cell so I can do some remote navigation. Be sure to bring your ID if you drink they will likely card you at the Bowling alley for beer. Also if you smoke be aware Ohio has a anti-smoking law, you will have to smoke outside at any public place. f you have questions please post them here.

Also, be sure to make your reservations or other arrangements. If you have trouble let Barrett or me know so we can help. There IS a homeless shelter in downtown Columbus and I hear the Franklin and Fairfield county jails are nice. just kidding.

I think you missed Jon Locs and Popeye. I don't have a name for this one but I'll ask. How much is paint ball without rental?

Couple of Things:

1st. I'm just gonna call you by your online name. It'll be easier this way.

2nd. With Drinking. Personally, I beleive if you can die for your country, you can get drunk. I don't promote under age drinking but 21 is the age unless you take your parent with.

3rd. No whinning in TS that your losing and no whinning on the paintball course either.

Ok i have 2 things that all attendees should know.

File sharing frenzy - Bring your external hd's and your media to share.(legal copies only please) Leech off others and contribute what you have. Mite as well take advantage of this situation. Bring Music, movies, programs and anything else that other might be interested in.

Second, LAN opportunity - people are asking are we going to lan it up there? i say yes but in moderation, if you have a laptop at your disposal that can run COH, or possibly starcraft or another low end game than please bring it. Even if only half of us can bring something it could still be some fun 3v3 action.

I got 2 laptops. The lower of the two can handle command and Conquer zero hour. I'm gonna bring my externals. And I have an 8 port gigabyte switch. Just in case, don't forget to bring your CAT5e cables.

Also, I"m taking a vote from anyone attending that is 25 years old and up. Should we vote that anyone who has played paintball before gets to play civil war style only?

On the Paintball. I still cannot get the field to call me back to confirm our reservations. I may try another field. Will post what I find out.

no the teams will be split so that they are both equally skilled so fair. Plus i want to use my Revo-Loder that feed 12 balls / second. You Ready?

GOOD NEWS!

I got a call from the Fran Bar Paintball, we are confirmed for 10-12 players on Saturday 21st. We can show up anytime around 12:00pm-12:30pm (or as close as possible) and the field is open until 5pm. If we meet at the Hotel around noon we can be over there around 12:20ish, stop and get paint (across the street) and be there close to 12:30pm.

I will print forms for all of us to sign before we get there. This will save time once we arrive.

The updated costs are as follows......

If you rent their stuff.... $35 ($5 back at the end as long as you dont break/lose anything - deposit)
The $35 includes, $25 rental, $5 "bring your paint", and $5 barrel plug armband deposit (this you get back if you are good).

If you bring your own.... $10-$20 (not sure if you need $5 deposit)

Paint (and other PB supplies) is sold across the street and starts at $32.95 for 2000 rounds. Depending on how many of us there are and how much you waste (I know some of you cant shoot worth !@#$), we can get more if needed. We can talk about whether each buys their own of we all go in together for a better price. We can debate that when we get there to see what the prices are. 200-500 rounds per person is normal but hard to tell each person varies a lot based on your play style.

So I'll bring 200 bucks for paint. I like to spray and pray baby.

I'll be bringing 10 000 paintballs... for myself. See you guys there, me and Chris are leaving today cause we dont want to be scrambling tomorrow at 5am to make it for 12noon, his cell is 905-807-7616, and I have got Barret's, Getim's, and Xazaz's. We're going to be at the Holiday in in pickerington(the 1 posted on the first page of this event posting).

Hey all, I wanted to thank everyone fun coming, that was fun and GG. Sorry I had to skip out on dinner, had to take the kids to my parents to stay so I was available in the evening hours. Of course, if I had known how long it took you guys to get seated and get your food I would have caught up with you lol. Anyway, be interesting to see pics, let us know when they get posted.
